TTM Resources Inc. donated $53,000 to Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver (BBGV) on January 28th at their Annual Yacht and Charity Event held during RoundUp, a premier technical mineral conference. Tickets allowed attendees on board a yacht, Magic Charm, docked at the Westin Bayshore, on which they socialized and enjoyed complimentary food and beverages. President and CEO, Crichy Clarke, is very grateful to his staff, friends, and business associates for helping TTM Resources Inc. raise the dollars for Big Brothers. As a regular sponsor of the Big Brothers Whistler Golf Classic, TTM Resources Inc. has a long history of supporting the mentoring based charity. “This year was a huge success; we exceeded our goal of $50,000 and are confident Big Brothers will put this to excellent use,” Clarke explained. TTM also generously purchased the raffle item.
The generous donation will be utilized to recruit, screen and train volunteers and to monitor friendships between Big and Little brothers. BBGV Executive Director, Valerie Lambert, notes “We are ever appreciative of our corporate partners like TTM Resources.” The donation will help BBGV serve some 800 Lower Mainland children in 2009.
