Lower Mainland branches of Canadian Western Bank recently donated $8,875 to Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver.

The funds were raised during the bank’s The Greater Interest GIC® campaign held in all branches through September and October 2010. For every dollar clients invested in a Greater Interest GIC, the bank donated, 1/8% to their local Big Sisters/Big Brothers agency.

Mackenzie Financial donated $20,000 toward expanding the Teen Mentoring Program in Surrey. The program allows the teens and children involved to develop leadership skills and gain self confidence

On December 15th, Ten Thousand Villages on West Boardway donated 10% of their sales to Big Brothers of Greater Vancouver and Big Sisters of BC Lower Mainland. A BIG thanks to our friends at Ten Thousand Villages!
